Alone in Oslo for one night and... safe!

I am doing fine in Oslo by myself, and Oslo suddenly got more interesting when I visited Vigeland Park and the Nobel Peace Centre and Bryggen Harbour. Well, I had to entertain myself for the whole day so I had to find stuff to do.

My pics I will put on later, but basically, in Vigeland Park (or do they also call it Frommer's Park? But the signboard said Vigeland Park, so..) there were about 200 sculptures or thereabouts, and many were of naked bodies so it was rather disgusting at first, but well, I guess I'd try to appreciate the beauty behind it, although I have no idea what meaning there was at all behind the "Sculpture Park".

Anyway, I got my backpack back at 5.40pm and checked into Anker Hostel at around 6pm. The male receptionist was very rude and I didn't like him at all, not one single bit. Almost wanted to shout at him when I said hi and he didn't reply and continued writing his letter till the end. Asshole. And I had to pay 205 Kr for my room, and now I am 40 Kr short for my bus journey. But they accept credit card so I hope I can part pay in cash (I got 100 Kr left) and the rest by card.

I got some pretty decent roommates. One Australian whom I was talking to for almost an hour until I came to the Thon Hotel to use the FREE internet (haha cheapskate me!). Will probably go back now to sleep soon!

OK, good night for now, gotta to wake up at 4.30am and prepare for my first flight alone. No one to see me off too =S But it will be helluva experience.

Anyway, first times are always the best! =)

The park used to be Frogner Park, but now it's Vigeland Park.

As for the statues: it's art, Clarence. You don't have to understand it, just enjoy it;p
