Busy bee me

The past few days were busy for me. A quick update.

Got to design and draw the circuit diagram for my countdown timer circuit (which was a big challenge to me), and this saw me running from one professor to another.

Then there was pulla-baking (pulla is Finnish sweet bread), a day trip to Rovaniemi (aka Santa Claus Village, which was a big disappointment by the way), meeting with new people from I can't remember where, and also a farewell party for Vladimir and Markus.

Of course how could I forget the last ice swimming session, after which we had an after-party at PSOAS' Student Union House. There, I got to know Piet better and also Mirja (a German girl with a Finnish name and an American accent) and then we were watching Case of Alzheimer's at Piet's house together with his better half, Mirja and Caner (her bf) and the Dutch girls (Anne and Karen).

Today, I just went to see the assistant for verification of my circuit design and he said "yeah the idea is there, you just have to make some adjustments..." And those adjustments necessarily mean that I have to rework the design. OH MY GOD. I just have to make it work, time is so tight! If I am going on the Latvia and Lithuania trip on 5th May, that is. Otherwise I have slightly more time. But really I should get out of Finland to explore new places, so I shall rush this thing. Hopefully it doesn't cock up and I get a pass grade for this. I can't imagine taking this module with my FYP.

Oh then, there was a big surprise that a Singaporean girl who was studying in Jyvaskyla (dunno if I got that name right, what with their Finnish As and Os) found my website and contacted me. It's such a small world, eh? Especially if you got a website and people from all over the world can contact you.

All right, I am going to trim my hair now. Then it's going to be cooking dinner and maybe doing some work, or watching a movie.

If I had more time, I would upload some pictures of the happenings for the past few days, but too bad Finland doesn't have 25 hours a day. I need more time!
