Oulu is not ulu

As some fortunate Europeans would have heard from me, Oulu in Singlish/Malay actually sounds like ulu, which means deserted or far away from any inhabited area.

But then again, the past few days have been so busy for me, even more so than when I was studying. There are simply so many parties to go to. The exchange students here are perpetually on a holiday mood, as is so for the exchange students back in Singapore. There's always something going on, anytime.

Like today, there's this Brazilian party at the Tellervontie club room, and then after that we are going to club at Onnela! Woohoo! My first time at Onnela, I'm sorry to admit (to the other exchange students; I know you all want me there, so be glad tonight!) and proud to say (to my parents. Who said I don't know how to control myself?)

The past few days there were also parties almost every day. Monday, there was makkara party (BBQ with Finnish sausages; I'm so sick of them after just 3.)

Everyone loves the smell of burnt wood on their coats.Makkara and other alien stuff like chicken thighs, and even banana with chocolate! (I did specify in the email that it was a makkara party!)

Why my hair looks like it exploded or something? (The makkara is smiling with me! =P)

Tuesday, there was Caio evening, as usual. But I didn't go to sauna! Argh!

Then tomorrow I'm going grocery shopping at Lidl with Hanka (Hana? Hanchitko or whatever you call yourself duderine!), Stefano and Juditta (maybe), and there's a crazy sale at Stockmann for air tickets and I'm going to try my luck. In the evening, there's the classical concert (watching my first concert in Oulu for only 2.50E!) Friday, at the moment is free, and maybe I will relax at home, watch some movie or go disturb people in my block. HAHAHAHAHA!

Now don't tell me Oulu is ulu. There's lotsa fun around (still).

OK my blog is getting boring. I need the Russia trip, then I will come back with another picture-filled entry.
