Experiment

An experiment involving a human bean (erm, sorry human being) has gone remarkably well. The subject, whose name shall not be revealed for purposes of confidentiality, has surpassed (his own, and probably other people’s) expectations and is doing fine (in fact, extremely well) at the moment.

The (not-so-top-secret) idea for the experiment was first mooted in Singapore, and subsequently brought over to Europe, and is still ongoing. Its purpose is to test the individual’s resilience, endeavours to try things out of his comfort zone (including but not limited to, food, immersing in foreign cultures, and meeting people from outside his ethnic circle), and willingness to push the limits of his fears and self-doubts. (Sounds like military training, but is actually more fun cos the food in military camps are generally sucky and you normally don’t meet foreign people when training in the army.)

So far, the criteria set for the subject have been met, and now further tests have been set to see how far the subject can be stretched. At the moment, the subject is tired out, but generally upbeat about the extra challenges set.

“Bring it on!”

This project will end on 1st July 2006. It has adequate funding, but then again, no donations will be refused. No, that wouldn’t be right!
